STOW ON THE WOLD

Stow on the Wold was stop #4 on the Cotswolds Guided Tour.

————————

We had the most time to explore on this stop to have lunch and to explore the town’s history and sites.

Some of the popular spots to see is the Tolkien’s Door, the Cotswolds Cheese Company, the Cotswolds Chocolate shop, the ‘Oldest Inn in England,’ and also to ‘try out’ the Old Stocks on the village green.

Lucy’s Tearoom

I had the BEST scones and clotted cream at Lucy’s Tearoom. Our tour guide, Richard, said Stow on the Wold is known for their clotted cream.

And the scones were so fresh!
